Reviews
This is a nice, compact heater Which worked very well except that rit interupted requires a ground fault. I live in an old House, Which ronly have a GFI in the bathroom and kitchen. I couldn 't use it in the bedroom RSO is to send it back.
Now I have bought three of these heaters space for three people in my office. What a great job! Setup is simple, the remote control batteries are included and the people love it. Just set the temperature you want and achieve and starts and stops to keep the temperature constant throughout the day. He 't heard any complaints!
I bought 2 of these 1 for the ground floor where we sleep and the other up, where my Nana charge. Wonderful. For me there is more noise than any other appliance timers and & Fantastic & the swing is right to enter into heat. LOVE THEM. To buy more for friends and family this holiday season. Gas prices UP!
I bought two of these on Amazon in September for $ 22:11, each with free shipping. The price is for them were a great buy. Lots of security features and a stronger than any other small ceramic heater that I had. Moreover, this comes with a remote control that is good to have. Regarding the price of $ 55.22 that are now in October in the past and I just happened with a cheaper heater with basic features.
Small but mighty, calm, it fluctuates and it 's has a remote control! Best of all its safety feature that automatically shuts off the heater if your tip.
Since one days before y 'day it was increased to $ 22.11 and suddenly available for $ 44, so what is the differance? It was given an old stock, and increase now in the new stock?
I love the remote control and that it 's also programmable. It brings a lot of heat in October and is relatively calm. The versatility of all the settings makes this a large heating value. I would have expected to pay much more.
Excellent, I would not have to get a transformer, 220w because I am abroad, but it is great.
I'll be warm this winter and work. Our room at school is always soooo cold. This heater turning off little heat and is small enough to pass under my desk, and it was such a price, although I don 't believe that I could find this quality for this price elsewhere.
We have a travel trailer and a camper pickup. This is the heater 4th, we have purchased from this company, and they are wonderful. They preform circled over other heaters. This is nice because it has the remote. The control is tempered just a little farther, he reads about 5 degrees below the room is accually, but this is no big problem. I would recommend this to anyone who needs a little boost in room temerature. We love him so much, we ordered another to have in reserve. The price was certainly high.
I haven 't had a chance to really use the heater (will do so this fall), but I ' ve turned it on and it seems to be working great! Heat Up Quickly, it 's pretty quiet and the remote control works well. Great value for the price I paid.
It 's the right size for small spaces. Safety features also means that it can be used in most office buildings, which is the reason I bought it.
I have an elderly family member with a lower-Circulatory problem and limited mobility, so we needed something to heat localized areas of the house to keep her comfortable. This remote controlled space heater, adjustable thermostat filled the requirements perfectly. Unlike other reviewers, I have no problem with the fan noise - it 'sa small unit and has to "Blowin ' the air - not terribly loud, but noticeable, definitely not a deterrent for us. The added safety feature (turns off when tipped over) works and has saved us from a couple of Mishaps (inadvertent bumps with the wheelchair). It works well in relatively small spaces, heat in seconds, and you try to be very reliable so far. I 'm considering one for the home office (for use in the cooler mornings / evenings).
I loved this heater. We use in our baby 's nursery to keep the heat at night regulated, while the rest of the house was legal. He worked hard and we feel safe using it. Then, after less than a year of use it just stopped working. There is no reason for him to have stopped. Very strange. So, this issue was disappointing.
This is a small heater for personal use. Don 't expect the heat of an entire room, but not the purpose of keeping warm in a small limited area.
Great heater. It met all our requirements (small, inexpensive, safe, remote control, thermostat, dump protection). It 's great to wear on cold mornings, turn it on and the area right in front is hot right away. It takes a little more than ~ 1 / 2 hour to heat our whole room, but seems to be quite good for such a small heater. It makes some noise (of course), but nothing you can 't sleep through and actually seems quieter than other similar heaters purchased for another room. And the remote is ideal for on and off without having to leave the warm bed.
Keeping a fairly large bathroom settings Auto temp and a good job (like it in the bathroom warmer than rest of house). The remote is especially handy for seasonal changes. It oscillates too, but I don 't use.
2 problems r R1. the fan is high. It's annoying when placed in a family rooom with a TV. or an office with a computer. Too high. R R2. Not powerful enough. We were looking for a portable heater to heat a family room. This heater is not powerful enough for our purposes. R rif has a small, namely, 9 feet by 9 feet of enclosed space, works. If you have a larger, 15 feet by 20 feet room type of family that actually has little effect. R RWE were disappointed in the actual benefit. We can buy oil-based heater next winter to see if it works better, calmer and more efficient heating.
The DeLonghi portable heater is perfect for rooms of small, medium or rooms that you do not want to stay warm while you are sleeping. The timer and remote control are useful so I can turn on the heater before getting out of bed in the AM. I set the timer so you do not forget to turn it off, I fall asleep. I do not experience the intensity that other writers c / o fence. I also used the heaters to help dry a drain after a rain in the basement. The best feature is the heater off, someone should knock on the heater. RThank you are a good product for the price. Ralica
Very good heater for small rooms (4x3 sqmeter mines). The rotation feature is important because it helps to distribute the warm air over a wider area and prevents the formation of concentrated dry, stagnant air that hurts your nose. It also delays the heating of itself turn too early, because the radiator thermostat also moves with the oscillating heating, air sampling around him. The Honeywell Surround heater and earlier, and used a portable fan and then to have the heating wont turn off quickly and give me a heating range from a few cm to blow it. To operate DeLonghi Oscillating But with this thing, i dont have that it is blowing. It makes it for himself. This heater can also be a very low speed. Clean R Ryou is the heat opening the back. The air intake is a filter that can be removed and washed / dusted. It's a good idea to be able to use wipe away all dust accumulation on the air intake at Längerer. R ri like the remote control function in lottt! Now I can adjust the temperature without getting out of bed. R rCon: I dont always like the orange on the screen. It seems in my face at night. Maybe they can do it only lights up when u press a button. Where there is another red light and that is enough. R rThe heating is very sensitive to flat surfaces and movements. This wont turn on even when plugged in, when the ground is not quite flat 0 degrees. This is a good safety feature, but its irritating.
I 've had this heater for 2 weeks now. I 've had several heaters in the past to compare. I bought a couple features I wanted - a remote and a digital thermostat. Regarding the noise disappears, it is certainly not the quietest heating and, unfortunately, has no set-up / down to fan speed, as some have heaters to reduce can - be the noise level. C 's not exactly sound like a hairdryer, but the higher the level of fan bathroom. Every time he switches on the property, the fan made a loud noise Creeking shutteringly until it gets going. For the amount of noise that makes you imagine that it would move more air because the fan is very low. It is an automatic stop switch on the base of the unit where the heater is reversed. Unfortunately, because of this ridiculous concept, you 'll find yourself having to reprogram the device every time you move at all because it actually cut the power off to him and he couldn ' save your settings? In addition, if you have any kind of carpet, you 'll have to glue or tape the switch down! They should use a ball bearing internal rocker switch or other type of tilt sensor. Then, the LCD is difficult to read, especially at night, unless you 're close. It kills the idea of remote control! They should have reversed the LCD screen, illuminated with the characters rather than the background or LED's. The buttons are hard to read .. they are completely black with no paint for contrast on the labels. Finally, the unit has a strange behavior. I have a thermometer that I 've been tracking accuracy, and all I can see is that the unit leaves much to be desired in this department. More specifically, there 't turn on immediately if, for example, the room is 68 and I made 72. I 'll have to crank it to 75, then after it goes into action for some time, put back to 72. R rDeLonghi should have put more money in the design, evaluation and features more people care about rather than things like anti-freeze mode and an air filter cheap (including the removal didn 't no great difference in air flow or noise). If I was a senior DeLonghi, I would immediately fire all design and engineering team on it, and start from scratch! R rit 's not worth the hassle to return this, and if I could start again I bought another unit. However, when I was evaluating different heaters I found all the units left much to be desired. This may be the same group of idiots who designed this radiator that 's designs each other there!
Well, yes, it is hard. But not much more loudly than other heaters. The problem with this is that the heater is set to make only one speed, high speed. Rif voice doesn 't bother you that much, then this is a heater. Has many features and heat up well (in San Francisco, freezing weather is not so here). RThe display in degrees F or C. Manual says you can change it by pressing "+" for 5 seconds, well, it 's wrong. You must press for 20 seconds or until a beep and a change from F to C or vice versa. And doesn 't say to press the "+" button on the device, rather than control. RThey units have thermostats good enough considering the price. This is not 100% accurate but it works well for me. I love that you can make only 1 degree F adjustment.
... That 's about it. I bought this to use my bathroom (Don 't), but the slightest bit of steam from the shower cracks it off, no matter how cold it is in there. After reading the temperature gets stuck in 72 degrees (even when it 's not) and it won ' t make up the 've unplugged it for a few minutes. Plus, the extremely loud volume fans are the same no matter what setting you have it and - perhaps not good for the environment when you have friends over and want them to enjoy a toasty bathroom. The timer can be used to come to heat the bathroom before I go there in the morning ... Now if I only remember to set it. Sadly, I had way too much confidence in this unit and didn 't think to return it until it's too late ...
I live in South Dakota, and for those who don 't Know-it can get very cold here. Now we 're having a little "Arctic blast " as he calls the weather service and our high temperature today was -1 degrees Celsius, with winds below 30-40. We have a nice, but older 1960 's old insulation and windows, and wood floors, which makes it difficult to keep the rooms warm. This heater is a new model of DeLonghi therefore not weren 't any reviews out there when I bought it so I took a chance on him, and I ' m glad I did. He kicks out a lot of heat, has a programmable thermostat, and have the option of the oscillation of heat that spreads very well. The sound goes, yes it is a bit high for some people, but certainly not even close to a hair dryer! . But you get used to it and its great for white noise, if you need to sleep at night. The only thing I dislike about this is that the beep every time you change a setting, or move it, which is a little annoying. Overall I like this much warmer, puts out more heat than our other DeLonghi DCH1030-a (smaller, no-no Oscillating remote, non-programmable) - and even if a heater is good. We use DCH4590ER evening after work in the living room, keeping the house thermostat at about 67 degrees. When its time to bed to move it to the room and set the house thermostat set at 62 degrees to save on gas. In the fourth, we set the DCH4590ER 's thermostat set to 67 to 66 degrees, and we are very comfortable with our Down Comforter. We put our DeLonghi oil filled heater in the room during the night for the cats. It keeps the cold out of the room very well and keeps the house from heat kick on as often. The trick to using these heaters is that they do not expect to heat a cold room ice instantly. He won 't Happen. But whether you want to keep your thermostat lower house in September to save money on your account the heat, and use them as sources of supplementary heat, they are great. I will update this when I get my bills next month and see if these years electric heaters saved me money.
Warm up a room quickly, and it is a very handy function properly functioning thermostat. It also oscillates in the heat more evenly, and has some level of heat. I would highly recommend. The only issue of the fan noise is pretty loud.
