Reviews

This is in the frying pan 1 i 've ever purchased. After reading the reviews for a group Fryers I chose this and I must say that I am completly impressed. Large rotating basket and make sure food is cooked evenly. We've made everything from tempura vegetables, to Fried Chicken and steak (yes we thought we would try to fry a steak, too!) To Funnel Cakes. The pan is very easy to use that old daughter 11 years old to use it to make fried potatoes all the time. So much safer than having him stand on the pot or pan of hot oil!

pros: r1. use less oil r2. heats quickly, even Allowing for smaller oil volume; did not check the temperature for accuracy r3. Empties easily, but the filter can overflow - suggest watching drainage and this goes quickly r4. rotating basket that does seem to decrease greasiness of French fries r5. cool outside - important to Prevent burns and melting of adjacent plastic r rcons: can 't think of any other than you have to prepare the food yourself! r rbottom line: Are the fries any better, they are not convinced , but they appear less geasy

I bought and used this a couple times. It works quite well with 2 problems though? RIS THIS rust proof? Because the cart started to rust BY USING ONLY TWO. I 'm not sure l ' food stains or rust, but I 'm much trouble reusing it until I know why the basketball a little browned. appears as rust, but I'm looking for. R RAL, the basket is incredibly difficult to clean. C 'is not non-stick, so that any quantity of fried flour, etc., will stick like hell on the basket and won ' t Come off, even with scraping. I had soaked in water for a day and then scrabbed with my hands as the half-hour, then used a toothbrush to clean oil. No punishment. Rand basket may even not be non-corrosive. RBet save your money and buy a set of stainless steel, but I heard those stainless steel are still struggling to clean the food does not stick to him also. RWEL, back to the store it goes. Rnic. 3 Deep Fryer I have right now ... some collected over the years for (1) I'd really like to use without being deterred by cleaning and (2) that actually produce fried foods where I could actually taste the food and was not cooked in oil. Enter the DeLonghi Roto-Fryer. R rit uses very little oil ... and leaves very little oil on the food and fry it. Cleaning is simple, given the high-drain, including container in which the oil filter after the frying is done (and the oil is cool). R rin all honesty, I've never tasted fried food better than this machine produces, enough said. R ri WILL say one thing, use an oil high temperature that will not "burn " promptly. Peanut oil is good for this although I use canola oil cheaper. The reason this is an issue is the simple fact that the heating elements are below the pot that there is no proverbial "cool zone ". To assist ... least clean it after each use and, again, use an oil high temp tolerance. R rif you fry donuts or discard other foods, you're probably better served with the model non-tilting/rotating this brand ... but for all the chips, mushrooms, etc., that sit in the basket - you found the pan for you. R cleanup: rPROS simple, very little oil used, the delicious results r footprint rCONS: large (for those who fight for space is a problem)

I loved this product at first. I only owned it a little over one year when it stopped heating. After some research I discovered that a "thermal safety switch " needed to be replaced. At first they advised that I had to take it to an authorized service center. There isn 't one within hundreds of miles of where I live. And then asked them if they could just send me the part so that I could find someone to fix it. They flatly refused. rThis is the price of poor customer service I went from recommending products to Delonghi advising people to stay clear of that product BRAND .

We owned a DeLonghi fryer, and after 4 years and broke the handle DOING SOMETHING STUPID. So, we did a search of all the fryer out there and still bought a DeLonghi. This Roto-Fryer is so well thought out. The old one I hardly ever drained. This one is so easy that when we fry batter leaves something behind that, it 's as easy as washing out a frying pan (let the oil cool first,) just wipe out with paper towel after you drain the oil into the supplied tub and dump it right back in when you 're finshed. So, it 's not to clean out Karpasha SPECIAL! Just using less oil is such a plus (which I was Skeptical at first,) that the food comes out almost oil-less. This tip also helps, 'Just pull up the handle, lock it in position to let the food set in the basket with the lid closed for a minute or two after cooking, the heat inside will drain more of oil, and the food will be even crispier. 'The air in the house IS NOT AFFECTED BY COOKING IN THIS FRYER, because the filters work flawlessly (buy the filters from Amazon.) And not a drop of oil on the counter. What 's also cool is, that it doesn ' t look like a fryer, so you don 't have anywhere to hide it when you ' re done. WE ARE HAPPY WITH THE AMOUNT THAT THIS fryer cooks, but for a family of 4 or more it may take longer. But, the recover time is fast because less oil is used. So, six of one, half a dozen of the other. The roto works great also. I 've read reviews where some say it stops rotating. That may be an issue if the basket is not washed at the top rim to get rid of the crust that builds up over time (just throw the basket in the dishwasher.) I 'm happy now I broke the handle on the old FRYER , this Roto-Fryer is the ultimate! And the price? Couldn 't go wrong for 89.00. Including shipping! A BIG THANKS goes out to Amazon for shipping time.

I was so impressed with how quickly the oil is heated and impressed with how evenly the cooked onion strings. It saves a lot of oil, too, and the cleaning is a breeze. I did try a few games to get the right time to ... but after that it was perfect. Also nice is the smell is not fat, saving the oil and filter change and storage containers, there 's included. I 've had Fry Daddy, but that seems much better to keep the temperature consistent, so the food is not muddy brown outside and inside. The drainage of the cleaning is so much easier, too. The DeLonghi may cost more, but it 's definitely worth it ... Plus you 'll soon be yourself, because you can reuse the Grease longer.

So far I have used this to cook a bit 'of frozen shredded potato patties and some Tater Tots, and has some hand-cut fries. R rThey all was well. Since I am new to fry, a couple had left a bit 'over-done, but lots of burning. GL R I'm using canola oil, since that is what is available in my market in larger bottles. Because this thing I Splurge a little 'and try peanut oil, once the instructions to recommend canola oil runs out. GL R found the window becomes too coated with condensation in the Fryer to see very well, but it's better than totally guessing. R rOpening lid frying needs care, as the steam will come out right at your fingertips when you press the button and try to keep the lid with one hand. So use two hands for this. R rCleaning easy. There is a pull-out title for the box of oil that you drain the oil in. Oils drains practically 100%, perhaps less than a teaspoon left in the whole affair, which can be removed with a paper towel. A soft sponge cleans the rest easily. I have not noticed any need to clean the filter in the lid again. R rone small design problem that I see immediately is that there is no indication in the tank for proper oil level. You must make a measurement with a cup marked and then pour the correct amount. A sort of indicator marks would be welcome. I see some problems if you use a lot and the need to top up the oil. Unbranded, you guess when you add more oil, unless you drain it, measure and overcome it, but in your measuring cup, then dump back into Asia Minor, but ... R rall in all, considering all the troubles of other large deep fryers, (the storage, cleaning, etc.), if you want a deep fryer for small lots, enough for 1-2 people, maybe 3-4 if the portions are small, this is a good choice. R r RUPD 28-June-2009: This does not have points of high and low for oil. They have not been described in the manual, and are visible only when you turn the thing so that the handle is on the left. The marks are on the right side and not visible from the front, while I was using, or on the other hand, I have also done. Big RMakes Tater-Tots.

This is a fantastic fryer. My tater tots are crispy at last! Peanut oil works best and gives the best taste. The fryer is very easy to clean and use less oil than other fryers due to the tilted rotating basket. Very clever design.

We bought a deep fryer 3 years ago, which he created by its innovative design and safety features. Unfortunately, when unpacking, I was used on the cheap rubber hose to hit the oil drain. However, we have the equipment in operation and has found it very useful for our light-duty: frozen french fries, shrimp Tampura and similar products. Oh, fear, as has cracked the rubber hose, causing an oil leak at the bottom. The rubber hose is clearly not replaced - so a $ 100 + machine is much cheaper because of manufacturing and insensitive choice dead. R rWhile no expert has a safety issue with this design report has been prepared DeLonghi other fryers with an actual valve for the oil drain as D24527DZ Esclusivo their DeLonghi Dual Zone 3-pound capacity fryer. The penny-wise pound-foolish in the production of this model may have the potential as a catastrophic mistake and safe use drastically shortens the life of the product. While we liked the concept of the fryer, we have replaced it with a conventional and conservative design. Unless you can afford to buy a new fryer every few years, which isn 't the model for you.

I love the fryer. The food cooked quickly and evenly browned all over. Clean up was easy. E 'was easy to use.

We had a fryer that was more than one or two people who were much more difficult to clean ... adventually slowed before the meal was done. This product is quick and easy to clean oil (too expensive to shoot). If you use peanut oil, does not like oil. Any and all recommend.

I 've had fryers in the past, but this is the top of the line. Oil filtering system works perfectly. It 's very easy to use as the others said reviwers only pay attention to the timer. when outside it doesn 't mean that the fryer is turned off. You have to do it manually. As always Delonghi products are reliable and I certainly buy again Delonghi.

The product fits the description on Amazon, except for the location of manufacture. The fryer is actually made in China and designed in Italy.

We have this product for French fries, raw fries, potatoes and onion rings used. It has an admirable work for all. Very, very easy to clean. Highli recommended to all. The only negative point is cracked the cover for the container of used oil.

Easy to clean, I removed the basket from the handle and clean the dishwasher. Limited smell home.

The fryer works great. Have not had a fryer in years. This one is the best.

This Fryer is ok, but that 's about it. Instead of Easy Clean System, they should call "It takes time to clean ". There are so many components that need to be cleaned, c 'is about a process of 20 minutes (not counting what you put in the dishwasher). In addition, they have the capacity is very limited. Three chicken thighs is max. So, your kitchen to 1.5 persons or more lots. It fries fry fozen Oreidis fast-food French better than McDonalds, but it 's not really worth the hassle to clean. Would I recommend it? No. A simple Frying Pan is so simple to use. And now with the rules of recycling, I empty all the oil onto the top of the lawn clipping recycling Toter. C 'is not worth saving in the container provided .... just another element to clean later.

bought it as a gift, she loved, said it's a gadget that works. RFast service. First class in every way.

Properties like this deep fryer and I enjoyed it, before using it. This fryer has a few improvements that makes using and cleaning the fryer a lot easier. The only problem with this is that Fryer had to come with a patch of oil to filter the oil when you used the container to catch oil. No filter was included. Delonghi called about three to four weeks ago and I 'm still waiting for the oil filter.

I got it for my wife as a Christmas present. He is asking for one but I wanted to ensure that it is a decent one. I checked all over and finally decided on this one. It works great! Use it and I do not fry food. These things came fresh and lean. It uses a small amount of oil and easy to clean. Now my wife complains that I am using the 'his ' Fryer.

The fryer is well built, with several improvements over the DeLonghi week I had. It was built on a timer and an easy escape nozzle. The temperature will warm to 370 degrees F, which is about 20 degrees warmer than deep frying.

I have not put the Fryer to use yet but I am very satisfied with its features and do look forward to using it in the near future

This is a great product, everything works as announced, the only thing I would have more, if you try to put a bit much in some foods that will not be long in the oil and not cooking soon as the rest. I love others, I recamend anyone.
